At La Cuma di Monte Rinaldo, in the middle valley of the Aso river, lies one of the most striking archaeological sites in the Marche region. Here, the architectural remains of an important Hellenistic sanctuary from the late republican period were identified in 1957 and are still the subject of archaeological investigations by scholars.
